Meet FRC President Mark Bines
Mark Bines grew up in Central Florida, but more to the point, Mark Bines grew up in Central Florida's home building industry.
A graduate of Lake Mary High School, the University of Florida and the University of Central Florida, Mark spent his teenage years working for his father, FRC Homes' founder Burt Bines.
At first, he was cleaning up on construction sites and eventually pitching in as a helper on just about every aspect of the home building process. By the time he'd left UCF with his BA degree in hand he was a full-time participant in the business, and in 1998, Mark was named Assistant Vice President.
As times and sensibilities have changed, Mark has changed with them. He continued his education, acquiring a Florida real estate license and earning a Green Building Professional certification. Today, as president of FRC Homes since 2005, Mark remains committed to staying abreast of new trends, techniques and technologies in home building, remodeling and renovation. The major difference is that these days his company is very likely to be among those setting the trends, perfecting the techniques and developing the new technology.
Currently, Mark has focused the many residential resources of FRC Homes on carefully selected custom home developments in the DeLand/Volusia County area, with remodeling projects throughout the Central Florida area. Meanwhile, he continues to map a sound strategic direction for the company's newly established commercial division.
